All of our Tilda wraps are handmade from Vintage/Recycled Indian Silk Saris. Due to the vintage nature of the fabrics, variations in color and texture may occur and you may find some imperfections.
What are the sizes?
We currently stock two sizes, 8-16, 16-24.
Our plus size wraps are available in a 36” length.
Standard size wraps are available in a variety of lengths, please have a look at out guide below to decide which length is suited to you:
'Short Length' is either a 20, 22 or 24 inch length, this length is best suited for short skits, and will make some amazing tops.
'Mid Length' is available in 28 or 30 inch length, these wraps fall below the knee or calf length for most people, they are great for skirts, tops or a short dress.
'Long Length' is our most versatile length as it can be transformed into dresses, skirts, tops, ponchos, with a little bit of creativity you will be amazed at what you can come up with!
How should I wash my Tilda wrap?
Never machine-wash a Tilda Wrap. Tilda Wrap's should be either delicately hand washed or dry cleaned.
Do not bundle and keep wet for a long time.
In case of stains, wash with cold water immediately.
For stubborn stains get you may wish to have your Tilda Wrap dry cleaned.
If your Tilda wrap requires an iron, please do so on a VERY low heat setting. We recommend that you place a towel over your wrap and then iron to protect the delicate fabric.
I do not live in Australia, will I be charged any tax or importing duty?
On the very odd occasion that custom duty or tax is charged the buyer is responsible to make payment.
I dont live in Australia, may I still buy from your website?
Yes, we do ship worldwide excluding Italy, but please note bank deposit of for Australian Customers only.
How much will it cost for postage of one clothing item?
Postage prices will vary depending on the weight of your item and where you are located. One item of clothing will be under $7 Australia Wide, 2 items will be around $10 and 3 items will be no more than $15. Our Kajal, Tweezers, Bindi's and Nail files are free postage and can only be sent within Australia.

What type of payments do you take?
Payment may be made via PayPal, direct bank deposit or credit card via paypal even if you do not have a PayPal account. If you are paying via credit card simply follow the easy steps when checking out.
When will I receive my order?
Depending on what part of the world you are in shipping time varies greatly.
All items are posted via Australia Post. We post within 48 hours of payment being received.
What is your refund/return policy?
Due to the nature of our product refunds or returns are not accepted. In some cases if your item is faulty you will be issued with a Matilda's Place store credit voucher this includes wholesale orders.
